Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 5:30pm there are exercise classes at the HOLLA! 'LET'S MOVE' FITNESS CENTER in Morven, NC! Richmond County's Cheryl Brady will work you out with her routine - Bumps, Lines, and Grooves! Classes will take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30pm- 6:30pm for only $3.00 per session. The Bumps, Lines, and Grooves Class features Party Line Dances, Old School R&B, Hip-Hop & Funky Dance Routines, Zumba, and Toning Sessions. The Fitness Center is located at 201 E. Main St, Morven, NC. Just bring a towel or map for floor exercises, hand weights, and a bottle of water.

Anson County Parks and Recreation Swim Lessons

Anson County Parks and Recreation will offer swim lessons this summer. Registration is open now, and will run until the first day of each class. There are classes for adults, youth beginners, youth advanced, parent and child, and preschool. The lessons cost $18.

The schedule for the classes is:

8:30 to 9 a.m. - Adult swim lessons
9:30 to 10 a.m. - Youth beginners
10:15 to 11 a.m. - Youth advanced
11:15 to 11:45 a.m. - Parent & child, Preschool

There must be minimum of 10 in each class time in order to have the class.
There will be no lessons the week of July 4th.

You can register at the Parks and Recreation office, located at Little Park (845 Airport Road in Wadesboro). Registration will also take place at various locations during May. The Express will publish that information at the time.
